ROOTED IN NEW ORLEANS, RUN BY NEW ORLEANIANS
The Rising Son is a brother-and-sister operation, part of a family that has worked in French Quarter retail since the 1960s. We grew up around this business, and the store reflects what we know best: New Orleans brands, hunting and fishing heritage, and the food, festivals, and traditions that shaped us.
We closed our previous store on August 1st and reopened as The Rising Son in under 30 days, a full remodel done fast because we knew exactly what this city was missing: a men's shop that felt like it belonged here.

That's our tagline, and it means exactly what it says. This city raised us. Every man who walks in is treated like part of the family.
1960s
Our grandfather opens a retail store in New Orleans.
Late 1970s
Our uncle begins operating stores in the French Quarter, a run that continues today.
2007
Our mom, after 35 years working alongside him, opens a store of her own with our uncle.
2010
We open NOLA Kids, continuing the family's Royal Street presence.
Today
The Rising Son opens at 528 Royal Street: a men's shop, remodeled and launched in under 30 days.
